Aaron Rackham

Aaron is a writer and has been an avid fan of the Warhammer 40k universe for roughly a decade. With an extensive knowledge of 40k lore, and an eye for detail he can often be found painting his T’au or Imperial Knights armies and listening to 40k audiobooks.

Favourite Warhammer Book: That’s a hard one. I’ll have to say the Eisenhorn Trilogy by Dan Abnett as it was my introduction to the Black Library and who doesn’t love a good street-level story.

Chosen Warhammer Army & Why: Despite my love for a lot of Imperium lore, I’ve always been drawn to painting T’au armies because I love their blocky, gundam-esque aesthetics, lore and I’m a contrarian and like to pick armies that’ll get people making fun of me.

Daniel Farmar

Daniel has been keenly interested in Warhammer 40k lore since his introduction to the universe watching Ultramarines: A Warhammer 40,000 Movie. Since then he has been slowly learning all there is to know about each faction and is looking to become more familiar with the tabletop aspect of the property.

Favourite Warhammer Book: By sheer process of elimination, given my limited exposure to the books, I have to say that it is Helsreach by Aaron Dembski-bowden.

Chosen Warhammer Army & Why: It’s a difficult toss-up between T’au and Deathwatch. I love the aesthetic and story surrounding the T’au along with the huge mech suits. Deathwatch has the advantage of meshing together various space marine chapters and each model feels truly unique and individual.
